During the Winter 2016-17, St. Mary of the Crown Church is fundraising to refurbish the church with three upgrades for our common spaces of Eucharist, prayer, and fellowship. A new sanctuary sound system, downstairs flooring, and downstairs lighting are needed improvements for our church building. Please consider making a year-end tax deductible donation of any size, as all gifts are much appreciated. Your continued generosity is a blessing for our entire parish community.
Sanctuary Sound System Overhaul |
A major overhaul of the sound system is proposed for St. Mary of the Crown’s sanctuary, cry room, and narthex to dramatically improve the sound quality during Mass. Improvements will include rewiring for sound refinement, carpentry to install the new ceiling QSC speakers, and a new QSC amplifier. This project will begin during Winter 2017, once the budget of $6500 is raised.
Music Director, Doug Gelpi can be contacted for details.
Flooring Upgrade in Downstairs Gathering Hall |
The flooring in the basement of St. Mary of the Crown is in need of an upgrade. Upon raising the funds, Blackstone Oak COREtec PLUS luxury vinyl flooring will be installed. The budget for this 2,319 square foot space is $13,000.
