Funerals

For a Catholic funeral, please contact the parish office Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9:00am-4:00pm. A Catholic who dies is to be given funeral rites. Upon the death of a loved one, families are asked to contact the parish as soon as possible and before any arrangements are made with a mortuary for liturgical services. On initial contact with the bereaved family, a priest or other minister from the parish will arrange to visit the family or meet with them to offer condolences in person, to pray with them (if this is acceptable to them), to prepare, and plan with them for the rites of burial.

Quinceañeras

Quinceañeras celebrations are scheduled on Saturdays. Exceptions include during Advent, Lent, Holy Week, and the Easter Weekend. Contact Kary Lara to the parish office at 970-704-0820 to schedule or email Kary@stvincentstmary.com

Cost: $600.00 starting January 2024. This doesn’t include choir or decoration of the church.
What it includes is the use of the facilities, the Quinceañera class and the practice a few days prior to the event.
It’s important to know that a Quinceañera celebration it’s not a Mass but it’s a celebration that includes the special readings, homily, blessing, communion for the quinceanera in some cases and it’s private. It doesn’t have multiple quinceaneras at the same celebration unless its requested by the Quinceañera.

Presentaciónes

This ancient tradition of the Catholic Church presenting of a child to God, and to the Church, stems from a strong desire by parents to ask for divine protection for their newborn, thanksgiving for a safe childbirth, and blessing and safe for the mother. Ideally a presentation blessing can be given during a regular Sunday Mass; a regular Sunday stipend is expected. Contact the parish office to schedule or email Kary@stvincentstmary.com
