During the 2025–2026 formation year, approximately 70 children and youth from St. Vincent and St. Mary of the Crown participated in our Religious Education and Sacramental Formation programs.

In accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Denver, our program recognizes parents as the first and primary educators of their children in the faith. For this reason, our catechetical efforts are designed to support and strengthen the formation that begins in the home through the dedicated service of our catechists and volunteers.

Our mission extends beyond sacramental preparation. While candidates are prepared to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, our primary goal is to help children, youth, and their families develop a deep understanding of the Catholic faith, foster a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and cultivate an active sense of belonging within the parish community.

Through age-appropriate catechesis, Scripture study, prayer, and faith formation opportunities, we seek to build a strong spiritual foundation that encourages lifelong discipleship and active participation in the life of the Church.

All catechists and volunteers complete Safe Environment Training and undergo background screening in accordance with Archdiocesan policies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for every child and family entrusted to our care.
